Not able to make a call from the video conferencing system

What do you do if you can’t make a call from your video conferencing system?

Make it a habit to restart the video system if something is not working normally. A reboot of the system often solves small errors.

Try to call another number that you know has worked previously. Tip is to use a number from the list of previous calls.

Make sure that the number you are calling is correct.

Using easy numbers (easy #) both videoconferencing systems have to be registered with easymeeting.net

Example of easy # is 801, 8010, 810810

As a rule, it is not possible to call directly between IP and ISDN-based videoconferencing systems.

Example of the IP number is 93.188.89.101
Example of ISDN number is 22 58 21 59

- Is the video conferencing system at the other end switched on?
- Is Auto-answer enabled?
- If the videoconferencing system at the other end is configured to be answered manually, is there someone to answer the call?
- Has the videoconferencing systems contact with the network?

LifeSize system has a green icon at the bottom right of the main menu when it is connected to the network. If the icon is red it means that there are problems with the network.

Polycom system displays the IP address at the bottom of the main menu when it is connected to the network. If the IP address are appears as 0.0.0.0 it means that there are problems with the network.
